HOW TO CALCULATE THE LOADABLE WEIGHT
To calculate the cost of an air cargo, the weight in proportion to the volume for international cargo of a ratio of 1: 6.

WEIGHT LOADABLE
The chargeable weight will be the highest between the current weight and the volume weight.
WEIGHT VOLUME
The cubic volume of a shipment is established by applying the larger measures of it. The dimensions of the shipment that result from an average of more than 6,000 cubic centimeters between 366 cubic inches per kilogram (166 cubic inches per pound), must be charged as a basic volume.
CENTIMETERS - KILOGRAM
If the dimensions of the shipment are in centimeters, the chargeable weight is established by dividing the total cubic volume by 6,000. The result is the weight volume in kilos.

INCHES - KILOGRAMS
If the dimensions of the shipment are in inches, the chargeable weight is established by dividing the total cubic volume by 366. The result is the weight volume in kilos.

INCHES - POUNDS
If the dimensions of the shipment are in inches, the chargeable weight is pounds is obtained by dividing the total cubic volume between 194 for local shipments and 166 for international shipments. The result is the volume weight in pounds.
